A Celebration of Winter’s Wonders, December 1–5
As the leaves turn golden and the air gets crisper, our university community eagerly anticipates the return of our beloved Winter Festival, set to light up the campus from December 1st to 5th. This year’s festival promises an enchanting blend of tradition and innovation, inviting students, faculty, alumni, and the local community to come together and celebrate the magic of the season.
What’s in Store?
The Winter Festival will feature a dazzling array of activities, including:
- Ice Skating Rink: Glide across our campus ice skating rink, open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Holiday Market: Explore over 50 stalls offering handcrafted gifts, seasonal treats, and warm beverages.
- Live Performances: Enjoy concerts by the university choir, dance troupe, and local musicians.
- Food Village: Savor winter delicacies from around the world, prepared by our culinary arts students.
- Light Show: Watch the main quad transform with a spectacular synchronized light and music display each evening.
Community and Togetherness
The Winter Festival is more than just a series of events – it’s a celebration of our community. It’s a time to pause, reflect on the year’s achievements, and connect with one another in the spirit of warmth and generosity. Many of the festival’s proceeds will go toward supporting student scholarships and local charitable organizations, making the season of giving truly meaningful.
Getting Involved
Students interested in volunteering at the festival can sign up at the Student Affairs Office. Volunteers receive free entry, meal vouchers, and exclusive Winter Festival merchandise. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to gain event management experience and make new friends.
Don’t miss out on the most magical time of the year at DBHW! Mark your calendars, bring your friends and family, and come make memories that will last a lifetime.
